Westside Apartment
The owners of this apartment had opposing style preferences. The wife was attracted
to Victorian gingerbread, while the husband wanted stainless steel. This project
attempted to bring the two styles together. The foyer and living spaces maintain
moldings and traditional lighting, while the bathrooms and kitchens are more
contemporary. The kitchen contains white stained wood cabinets, which refer to
the style of the traditional upper Westside apartments, but the details are simple
and modern. |
