Park Ave Apartment

This large two-bedroom apartment in a post-war high-rise building was renovated for a bachelor who wanted a simple project and a straightforward style. The layout of the apartment was not altered, but all finishes were updated. The textured ceiling was scraped and replastered and the thin parquet floor was replaced with new maple flooring. New cabinets were designed for every room to help in organization and to keep furniture selection to a minimum. The kitchen was reconfigured and translucent sliding panels were added for decorative detail, providing the kitchen with privacy during entertaining.
